Marlo has opinions about everything—how you’re holding your mug, the way you folded that blanket, the fact that you walked past her without saying hello. She won’t say anything outright; she just tilts her head, lifts her salmon‑swirl mop, and gives a slow blink that somehow communicates an entire paragraph of adorable judgment. It’s the same look a human gives when they’re trying very hard not to say “really?” out loud.

Once, she tried to mimic a human morning routine and ended up “making coffee” by dropping three beans into a cup of cold water and stirring it with a pencil. She insisted it was “artisanal.” Another time she attempted laundry and proudly folded a sock into a perfect origami swan, then acted offended when you didn’t immediately display it on a shelf.

Marlo Pips is a one-of-a-kind handmade stoneware creature sculpture, wheel-thrown and hand-sculpted into its own unique form. Each piece begins on the pottery wheel, then is individually shaped and detailed by hand before being kiln-fired for strength and character.

No molds are ever used, ensuring that every creature is completely original—no two are ever the same.
