Lira Mosswake is the gentlest presence in the wetlands, though the marsh itself seems to rise and breathe around her. Moss drapes across her shoulders like a living shawl, and her eyes hold the muted green of places where sunlight filters through reeds. She rarely speaks, but the marsh listens to her all the same. Where the water lies still enough to mirror the sky, Lira keeps watch. She feels every shift in the mud, every tremor beneath the cattails, every ripple that doesn’t belong. Creatures of the wetlands approach her without fear — frogs settling at her feet, herons bowing their long necks as they pass. She is part of the marsh, and the marsh is part of her.

Lira Mosswake is a one-of-a-kind handmade stoneware creature sculpture, wheel-thrown and hand-sculpted into its own unique form. Each piece begins on the pottery wheel, then is individually shaped and detailed by hand before being kiln-fired for strength and character.

No molds are ever used, ensuring that every creature is completely original—no two are ever the same.
